1. Course Overview

This 4-week Squarespace website design course is designed to guide business owners through the setup, design, and launch of a Squarespace website. The course includes one virtual session per week, with each session building on the previous one to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the platform.

This course does not include custom website design. Participants will select from a curated collection of pre-made templates and learn how to customize them to their preferences.

This course does not include complex functionality (like a customer portal or online store). Each website will include 4 basic pages (e.g., Home, About, Products/Services, Contact).

2. System Requirements

By signing up for this course, you confirm that you meet the necessary system requirements, including:

• A computer or laptop running Windows 10/macOS 10.13 or later.
• A stable internet connection with a minimum download speed of 10 Mbps.
• A compatible web browser (Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Microsoft Edge).
• Basic familiarity with computer operations and web browsing.

3. Attendance Commitment

The course spans four weeks, with one mandatory session each week. By enrolling, you commit to attending all scheduled sessions. Missing sessions may result in a lack of continuity and understanding, which could impact your ability to successfully complete the course.

4. Payment Terms

The course fee is $500, divided into two non-refundable payments of $250 each.

• The first payment of $250 is due at the time of registration.
• The second payment of $250 is due on week four of the course.
• This does not include cost of Squarespace subscription, which must be purchased separately.

5. Refund Policy

All payments made towards the course are non-refundable under any circumstances. This includes the initial deposit and the subsequent payment. By proceeding with the payment, you agree to these terms.

6. Course Access

Access to course materials and sessions will be granted during class on week one. You are responsible for ensuring that your system is ready and capable of accessing the online sessions and materials.

7. Cancellation and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule your participation, you must notify us at least 48 hours before the start of the first session. However, please note that no refunds will be provided for cancellations. In case of rescheduling, we will do our best to accommodate your request, but it is not guaranteed.

8. Intellectual Property

All course materials, including videos, documents, and presentations, are the intellectual property of Brocksfield Design Company. Participants are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use the materials for personal use only. Distribution or reproduction of any course content without prior written permission is strictly prohibited.

9. Limitation of Liability

Brocksfield Design Company will not be held liable for any technical issues that arise due to participants not meeting the system requirements. Additionally, we are not responsible for any loss of data, interruption of service, or other technical issues that may prevent you from completing the course.

10. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Georgia.
